WHO WE ARE
New Life Assembly is a church family that is focused on expressing their love for God. We lovingly accept all people who are seeking a new life in Jesus and want others to experience the transforming grace of God through His son Jesus Christ. Originally started by RCCG in 2013, we envisioned a place where individuals could live victoriously, have a new beginning and grow together in discovering their God-given potentials. Our desire is to impact lives globally and foster a community of individuals who are dedicated to Jesus regardless of their personal history, family background, ethnicity, social and economic status or gender.
As we continue to move forward, We are committed to ensure that as a family we are built around the love of God. This means devotion, victory, and empowerment of young people remain the core values that guide the church.

Grounded in God’s Word
The Bible is our foundation and we believe it has not lost an ounce of relevance or power to change our lives. We endeavor to take the truth of God’s Word and accurately apply it to the time we live in, in an uncompromising fashion, without hesitation, yet with sensitivity and with practical application.
Growing Spiritually
We are still growing as a church and individually. We continue to learn and develop together as a community. God's teachings guide everything we do, including preaching, teaching, and personal devotion. This helps us to grow and be shaped by God.
Building the Family
Our goal is to build a welcoming church community that supports people of all ages, helping them grow spiritually, emotionally, and physically, while emphasizing mentoring and supporting each other to be the best version of ourselves and build a strong family of God.
Reliant On Prayer
Prayer is a powerful way to connect with God that helps us build a relationship with our church community. It brings about positive change in our lives and for others. By praying, we invite God's love and hope into our lives, which can help us feel peaceful and joyful, even during tough times. Praying can also help us become better people and make a positive difference in the world.
Deliberate in Evangelism
We reach people with the message of Christ locally, nationally, and globally. We are eager to share it with the lost in a personal and loving manner.
Practicing Generosity
We want to help others and support His work as much as God gives us. We believe that Christ is our source. That's why we happily give money, skills, and time to help His work and make the world better.
Passionate in Worship
Our aim is to create a dynamic corporate worship experience that honors Christ, inspires believers, and fosters a daily lifestyle of devoted worship.
OUR PASTOR
Pastor Stephen Oputa is our lead pastor. His heart and motivation is always to see the next person encounter Jesus and becoming a better version of themselves as they strive to fulfill purpose.
The vision of New Life reflects this passion as we grow to knowing Jesus and serving Him with so much love.
Stephen and his lovely wife, Angela, have been married since 2011 and live in Istanbul, Turkey.
